“I sent an email to my friends and asked for their help, Here is my message:Hi All,I have picked my dream theme- that all children have what they need to thrive. I know that all of you have kind hearts for children. So, I would like to include your thoughts, too. Using one word descriptors, tell me what comes to mind for you when you think about the things a child needs to thrive. (For example – love, shelter, food, etc)
Terry –
Almost all responded and I had two pages of input. I finally started my panel on Valentine’s Day (hence the hearts) and randomly added what everyone had sent to a heart. I didn’t get every idea down but I got a lot of then down…. and on each heart I added “Love” because thats the most important thing a child needs. Our dream… a world where every child is cherished.”
