What is your artwork about?
“I Feel that as a world, as a species, we are rapidly eliminating, ignoring and teaching intolerance of the precious diversities which
make our lives so interesting. I taught school for many years and was so disappointed to find as much intolerance in succeeding generations of children and their parents as there has been throughout my life. This is the first serious piece of art I’ve done devoted to this theme,
and I intend to do many more. I also love working with profiles. This time I just used what I had, but I will be photographing for the purpose of getting more well-defined profiles and full faces. I think I will revamp my 35 mm camera. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of your vision. It has given me wonderful clarification on my own vision.”
What else could the IFC do?
“Have you ever lined & covered an indoor environment? Perhaps something on the
scale of the world’s largest mall, something open & huge.”
