Dream Theme-9/11 Memorial
What is your artwork about? “Like the day JFK was shot September 11, 2001 will live in my memory forever. I was not affected personally by the tragedy but it has still effected me as it has the country. It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years since it happened. Seeing the photos of the lights they turned on to memorialize the spot where the towers were I felt I would like to use that shot as the basis for my panel.”
Techniques & Materials Used: 100% cotton background, Angelina Fibers, Printable cotton fabric, Misty Fuse, Wonder Under fusible.
Did you enjoy this project? It was interesting to do this for this somber memorial.
What other projects could the IFC do? Don’t know. Maybe cover the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower??
