What is your group’s artwork about?
As Cadette Girl Scouts, the girls determine the structure and direction of meetings and projects. This is a new concept for our girls who are use to adults giving direction.
When they were challenged to come up with a design for the panel, they could not agree upon a single design. In a negotiated compromise, each girl was allocated an 8×8 square to implement her own design. The panel reflects the diversity of the ideas and dreams of adolescent girls.
