Title: Hate in Color; Reflection of the Hate of Segregation

Theme: Student Activism / Community

Materials and Techniques Used: Paints, canvas, and creativity

What is your artwork about? We chose to paint this to show how people felt towards segregation. We drew a few black kids holding hands to represent togetherness and the black kids as a whole that went. We made a white school to show that this school was controlled by white people and the flames to show anger in how they felt but the black people did not care and would fight for acceptance.
