Title: Visionary

Theme Chosen: Space, Peace, and Visionary/Community

Materials and techniques used: Pen, and crayon

What is your artwork about? Space exploration, World peace, Imagination

Artwork 1: Essay by Torrin“For the Dream Rocket Project I decided on using the theme of Peace. Peace is something that people think about every now and then and in times of war but for the most part is a subject that is too often neglected. I think that peace is something that should be thought of more often and that the world should strive harder for. That is the inspiration behind my picture. It is the world enveloped in peace, just like it should be.”

Artwork 2: Essay by Shelbi“I chose visionary because I believe that everyone looks at things differently. Someone could look at a pond and just see the water and mud at the bottom. When I look at a pond though, yes, I’ll see the water, I’ll also see the reflection. Two things that I think are important are art and photography. Everyone needs a way to express their creativity, imagination and love of something, and I think those two things are great ways to do it. Picture it. Live it. Love it. Capture it.”

Artwork 3: Essay by Savannah“Well I think kids these days need more energy so they can go outside and play and get exercise and they also need to have a good imagination to make up games and stuff to play and one way to keep kids energized is music like they can join the school marching band. And another one is art like you could throw paints, painted on canvas. And also I think peace is important because everybody need to be nice to each other and love each other.”

Artwork 4: Essay by Natalie“My design represents the theme; the theme I chose is space. My drawing represents space because it shows a scene of space with planets and stars. My design also is important to the present and future. It’s important because it shows that there are things more than what we see every day on earth.”
