Theme Chosen: Music, Imagination, & Space/Community

Materials and techniques used: Colored pencils, and markers

What is your artwork about? Music, Imagination, & Space

Artwork 1: Essay by Dylan“I think my drawing illustrates the space theme very well. I drew an Astronaut standing on our moon. The sun and another planet are visible.”

Artwork 2: Essay by Mackenzie“My drawing is symbolic for spiritual meditation. He has an out-of body experience with ‘shrooms, the all seeing eye, mountains and dismembered body parts. The psychedelic colors take him away to another universe deep in his subconscious.”

Artwork 3: Essay by Kennedy“My picture is about imagination. It explains a story book open with a whole bunch of random things coming out, such as stars, moons, trees, and the sun and ocean. It also shows a beautiful rainbow to display happiness.”

Artwork 4: Essay by Yuissa“My artwork represents music. Music is everywhere, and is used every day. I chose music because I love music. I did music signs all over the poster and a CD, represent music also, and a piano, because I love piano music. So this is why I chose music.”
