Artwork 1: Essay by Rachel“My design represents my theme – music – because it has several musical instruments. It also has some sheet music in the background. Music is important because it can express feelings and ideas in a way everyone can understand. We’ve always used music and it develops like any science.”

Artwork 2: Essay by Marissa“My design represents peace, freedom, space, & music theme. My peace sign represents peace in the world. There’s a planet and the moon for space. The flag is for freedom and there are music notes for the music theme. My themes are important because everyone needs freedom and music gives people peace and different ideas about things.”

Artwork 3: Essay by Justice“My drawing is the liberty bell with an American flag background. This represents freedom. WE need to let freedom ring and be proud to be Americans. This theme is important to the past/future because we became free in the past and we will still be in the future. God Bless America.”
