Title: Freedom For All! And Help Save the World for Everyone!

Teacher and organizer: Winki Allen

Homeroom: Powell

Dream Theme: Space and Freedom / Community

Materials & techniques used: We started first with individual pencil drawing on paper, then group drawings. Afterwards, we transferred images onto cloth and began painting. We use cloth, pencils, permanent markers and paint pens, fabric paints. We sewed the panel using a sewing machine.

Participants: Mrs. Winki Allen, Emily, Hunter, Dylan, Camryn, Natalie, Jailin, Will, Scrina, and Christian.

What is your art about? Our Original them was Space and Safety….but we were also interested in Freedom. We worked together as a group to include what we thought were the important parts about space …such as the world with peoples of all colors around it, and with the Saturn V and the soon to be launched GOES-R weather satellite orbiting the earth, our sun and our moon.
