Title: Rain Water

Teacher and organizer: Jennifer Keith

Dream Theme: Water Quality

Materials & techniques used: Acrylic

What is your art about? My picture represents the water quality of rain. It represents the water quality of rain because my dream is that the world will have a lot more colorful and different flowers. If it rains it will give the nutrients the flowers need to grow. One inch of rainfall drops 7,000 gallons or nearly 30 tons of water on a 60′ by 180′ piece of land. I feel my piece represents my dream for rain water quality.

Title: Earth’s Water

Teacher and organizer: Jennifer Keith

Dream Theme: Water Quality

Materials & techniques used: Acrylic

What is your art about? I created mountains in the distance with a beach showing the salt water. Less than 2% of Earth’s water supply is fresh water. The Earth is made up of 97% water. Only 1% of the Earth’s water is available for drinking. We need to conserve and take care of our Earth’s water. It is so important.

Title: The Water Cycle

Teacher and organizer: Jennifer Keith

Dream Theme: Water Quality

Materials & techniques used: Acrylic

What is your art about? On my painting I put the large water drop to show the water now and what my dream for the future is. The cycle goes along as it gets browner and browner until it is completely brown. If we don’t step it up the water WILL get fully brown and polluted. Hopefully that won’t happen. I learned that there could be chemicals in any water you drink. If it is something poisonous it could be very bad and dangerous for our future.
