Title: Dancing Rainbow Forest
Theme: Conservation (Nature, animals, etc)
Materials: Acrylic paint; 80 lb. paper; graphite and assorted mixed media.
About: We dreamed of a dancing rainbow forest after learning about Matisse and the way that he painted like a “fauve,” or a wild beast! We used lots of unusual colors to depict a world where people will only use the trees that they absolutely need in order to survive!
