Title: Dream Rocket Quilts
Theme: Community 
Materials: We used canvas, acrylic paint, colored pencil and sharpie.
About: We focused on the themes: Space, Community, Peace and Nature. Each second grader choose a symbol representing 1 of the 4 themes we selected. 77 second graders participated in making 5 quilts, each individual square was 6 x 6. As the teacher I contributed 3 6 x 6 squares to the quilts in order to make the total number of squares 80 (16 squares per quilt, 5 quilts).
