Title: Super Stamp
Theme: Space
Materials: Students created stamps by carving out of a piece of rubber material. In the moon stamp, it had to be altered and enlarged for every printing of the moon changes. The stars remained the same. The planets were thumb printed in different colors to represent various planets. And The Earth was created with all of the artists involved fingerprints. We do leave our fingerprints on the earth!
About: Students wanted to show the breadth of space with multiple stars and the earth. Students chose shapes and the idea as it would work well with the stamp method. The Earth is created in fingerprints to be more personal than outer space.
