Title: Who Am I

Theme: Who Am I

Materials and techniques: I used fluorescent colored paper, Black markers with white paper. I decided to cut up the papers in an interesting triangular pattern to draw the viewers attention to my self-portrait, which symbolizes “Who I Am.”

About: This was a very interesting art project!
It made me think about my heritage and how to put that into a visual format.
I used the British Flag, the American Flag and the Scottish Flag to signify my heritage.
I also used the different colors in triangular format in the background to create a strong visual movement that would create a dynamic movement in the composition.
I am very proud of my artwork and to share it with the Dream Rocket Project!

Did you enjoy this project? This was a very interesting project to participate in!
It made me reflect on my heritage and realize how important my heritage is to me.

About: This was a very interesting art project! It made me think about my heritage and how to put that into a visual format. I used an image of a tree and a figure next to the tree. I also wanted to show the roots of the tree. The roots symbolize my African Heritage from Nigeria. They represent my present family and my past family. My family tree. I also used just black and white to make the image very dramatic and dynamic. I am very proud of my artwork and to share it with the Dream Rocket Project!
