Title: Galactic Dreams

Theme: Imagination

Materials and techniques: I first used black chalk to sketch out my art on the fabric. Then I used paint to fill in my work. I had to mix lots of colors to get what I wanted. I used a sponge to help create a gradient design for the galaxy. I would like to add stars by sewing on sequins and beads but I’m not sure if I will have time for it.

Did you enjoy this project? Yes, I enjoyed this project very much. I found it very inspiring. I enjoyed working with my classmates.

About: My rocket is suppose to represent open and big possibilities. The galaxy was meant to show imagination because of all the different ideas of what may lie far behind it. I am so excited to be doing this project because I find it very inspiring. I really hope that this will turn out as the best it can be!

Title: Pluto

Theme: Art

Materials and techniques: Paint brushes, paint, fabric, sequins, needle, thread, pencil

Did you enjoy this project? I very it was much enjoyed working on this project because it was very interesting and fun to work on. This project opened my eyes to new ways to art and those ways are extremely exciting.

About: My artwork is all about creativity, it has may different colors and it has music notes. But most of all it has sewn in sequins! My rocket has blazing fire coming out of its ends. If your wondering why it’s so colorful, well that is because I added color splotches on the main part of my rocket! In the back round I made space and Earth in the bottom right corner. To make the stars I used the back of my paintbrush and dipped it in yellow paint and i dabbed it all over my fabric.
