Participants: Lauryn Mitchell
Teacher: Susan A. Walton
Materials and techniques used: Paint on fabric with red, neon and silver paint markers.
About: I made shooting stars to introduce the rocket to space. I even made the rocket blast off from the sun. My favorite part was when I was almost finished, and I got to add the details. It was so fun to add these designs and stars and it looked really cool.
This is the first time I ever made a rocket and made something that BIG! I am so happy I got chosen to paint on the fabric for the “Dream Rocket Project.”
When I finished, I felt like I accomplished something special and did a good job too!
