Title: Freedom

Theme: Freedom

Materials and techniques: Materials used 1 24 by 24 in. white cloth piece, and black and white Acrylic paint. I painted the cloth the grey color first then, I added the horse, then I added my quote. For the quote I used all black for the letters, except the word freedom that way it would show its importance in the piece.

About: My Artwork is about the freedom a horse gives a person. I ride horses and I could be having the worst day and be feeling very down, but when i get on my horse and ride I feel free of all my problems. Horses also give freedom to many disabled people that maybe cannot walk by themselves but can ride a horse and that gives them the power of freedom.

Title: 42

Theme: Expressions of Freedom and Equality

Materials and techniques: The materials I used for this project were just a normal 2ft by 2ft square fabric piece, and acrylic paint. I used blending and shading techniques on this project.

About: My artwork is about blacks and whites coming together as one and playing together as a team no matter what color their skin is. I based my artwork off of the movie 42, which is about Jackie Robinson, the first African American baseball player.
