Materials and techniques: Mixed media on 100% cotton rag paper. Drawing, painting and collaged elements.
Did you enjoy this project? This was a great learning experience that included research, planning, organizing, composing, presenting and responding to a motivation that developed ideas for art along with providing opportunities to think about art in a more holistic manner, including potential for a career, combining art skills and critical thinking as a means of participating in scientific investigations.
About: The artwork depicts da Vinci and his famous artwork, The Mona Lisa, along with his concepts for air travel. Furthermore, artists, as creative problem solvers, may contribute to progress in future, air travel, including possible outer planetary explorations. Critical thinking skills developed through making art may offer the field of scientific investigation a fresh view of many problems seeking solutions, if there are opportunities to make a contribution.
