Did you enjoy this project? Yes, our students loved having the opportunity to express themselves through their artistic eye. Many students made connections between their behavior, how they feel physically, and what they eat that had never occurred to them before.
About: With this project we explored what it means to take care of and respect our minds, bodies, and spirits in everything we do. We discussed with our students the different states of being. We talked about feeling upset, peaceful, mad, excited, happy, nervous, etc. and how those feelings exhibited themselves. We also spent some time talking about nutrition and being physically active and how those ideas affected our well-being. Students were them asked to work in collaborative groups to create a visual representation of the various discussions they were all a part of.
