Title: Bugs at Home in our National Parks

Teacher: Mrs. Haigh

Theme: National Parks

Materials and techniques: Canvas, acrylic paint, acrylic paint pens, and pencil.

Did you enjoy this project? Yes! The kids had a great time drawing bugs in a picturesque park setting. As always, they enjoyed painting the most.

About: When we discussed National Parks, the kids explained it as a place to have a picnic and run around on the wide expanse of grass and trees. As we were in the midst of learning about bugs, each artwork depicts a picnic area with their favorite bugs crawling around. Though some bugs are still icky and annoying, the children have gained a deep respect and thrill for bugs. May the National Parks always be a haven for people and bugs alike.
