Did you enjoy this project? Yes, I enjoyed working on this project very much. It was a great opportunity to create this painting for the Dream Rocket Project. Thank you so much.

About: The painting represents an American soldier waving a Colonial American Flag in front of a mountain side. The painting is a symbol of the freedom we fought for and won as part of the American Revolution. I researched images of American soldiers that fought during the American Revolution and found some pictures that inspired me to create this vibrant painting. Although the painting focuses on an American soldier it also emphasizes the land of America, our freedom and country.

Did you enjoy this project? Yes, it was fun to work on this project with my friends. We enjoyed spending time creating this project during recess and lunch time. This project has been such a great experience. We are very proud of our painting and happy to share it with everyone!

About: Our artwork is about the revolutionary war. The George Washington is to show the man behind it all. On the white stripes we have our national anthem to represent the song we wrote to prove our independence. The flag is the flag we made soon after which is still what we are known by today. Let freedom ring!

Teacher: Mr. Tripaldi

Theme: Freedom

Materials and techniques: We used pencils, paint brushes and tempera paint.

Did you enjoy this project? Yes, we had fun even though sometimes we made a mistake but we were able to correct it once the paint dried. We enjoyed taking on this project because we knew we could do it.

About: We created Thomas Stone: Life After Death to bring Thomas Stone’s importance back to life. The locket is to create suspense and the American Flag represents his part in the American Revolution.
