Title: Taboo Experiments

Teacher: Mrs. Hernandez

Theme: Thomas Edison

Materials and techniques: We brainstormed and expressed different ideas. We started off by utilizing the canvas provided for us. One member of our group sketched our painting. We then used acrylic paint and a variety of brushes. We all had a role in the actual painting of our canvas. There were usually two people from our group painting, making sure we were keeping a good pace in order to finish.

Did you enjoy this project? Working on this project was a great opportunity. We were able to learn more about of the world’s greatest icons. We were also able to interact with one another and create ideas. We then took our ideas and translated it into the canvas and we all partook in the painting. Overall it was an enjoyable, fun, learning experience.

About: When we were presented with the opportunity to create a painting on Thomas Edison, it was a great honor. However, we felt it was necessary to do extensive research on Edison to truly comprehend all the attributions he has made. We learned about his experiments and even details about his personal life that we weren’t aware of prior to research.
