Did you enjoy this project? We really came together to create this piece and students enjoyed creating their unique contribution to the whole!

About: Creating the feeling of a collaboration of women/ girls in this world for the struggle of equality. Female students created a collage of artwork symbolizing how far women’s rights have come since the days before they could vote and be represented in political arenas. This piece is full of our hopes as females that the future will hold more opportunities for ALL women to participate in all fields of study, careers, and pay. There is so much we can do together! Strong women/ girls unite!

About: Students thought about what inequality means and what areas of society were lacking in equal rights or opportunities. They all agreed that equality in funding, medical coverage, and food is a concern. We used symbols and words to convey our ideas about things not being equal for all in our community and world.
