"Why did I choose to do the Dream Rocket project with my Girl Scout troop? First of all, it's fun! The girls love doing hands-on craft activities. Girl Scouts is focused on developing the girls into leaders. We encourage them to demonstrate courage, confidence and character in everything they say and do. To do this they must start with what their DREAM is... what do they want to change in themselves, their community, their world.
From there they can take action and become leaders to make these changes, to make these dreams come true. This is why the Dream Rocket is such a fun project to do with Girl Scouts... all it takes is a dream and some creativity"
