Calling All Girl Scouts to Join A Global Art Project!
Girl Scout troops, students, teachers, and individuals across the United States and dozens
of countries are participating in a history-making project over the next year. In May and
June 2011, the Saturn V Moon Rocket is to be transformed into the world's largest collaborative
art project. The 37 story (363 foot tall) Saturn V Rocket replica will be wrapped with a 32,000
square foot quilt! Dubbed The Dream Rocket, it will be on display at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center
in Huntsville, Alabama. And YOU and your Girl Scout sisters can contribute a visionary, dream-themed
quilt panel! Remember that reservations are First come First serve!
