What is your group's artwork about?
Each girl was asked to come up with an original design and they came up with the idea of the triangles that all converged in the center - so it all comes from one place but as you can see by the individual pieces all ideas can be different.

Materials & Techniques Used: Fleece, fabric, glue, and sharpies.

What is your group’s artwork about?

“The girls talked about ‘How to achieve PEACE in our world.’ The talked about various problems in the world; poverty, illness, pollution, hunger, etc. and then they talked about possible solutions to these problems. All of the solutions pointed to Love and Education. Our girls decided that if we had more love and more education in our world, we could have peace.”

Techniques Used & Materials Used: Fabric Markers and tracing

What is your group's artwork about?We talked about the Saturn V Rocket and how it took a man to the moon. We discussed that back in the 1960's it was still a "dream" to put a man on the moon. Then I asked them to think of a "dream" for today regarding "Space". They came up with several, but finally voted and decided on a "Space Hotel". Then the ideas started flowing and we came up with our final design.

Did you enjoy this project? Yes. The girls loved it. They had fun coming up with an idea.., a science dream of the future, and had fun coloring it.
