Find Sponsorship
We understand how many students, schools, groups and individuals will want to participate in this historical worldwide collaborative, but unfortunately they are not able to pay the fee to reserve a spot. The Dream Rocket Team is committed to doing our part in connecting potential participants with sponsors, as well as encouraging the participant to raise funds.Getting connected with a Sponsor through The Dream Rocket:
Over the next year, The Dream Rocket Team will be posting names of individuals and organizations who are interested in sponsoring a panel. Our goal is to connect each one listed with potential participants. The postings will include a short description of the sponsorship he or she is donating.
(Example: “I would like to sponsor three elementary schools in Australia to create three Dream Theme Panels,” or “I am interested in sponsoring a special needs group that works with children who are in foster care to create a Visionary Panel”.)
This opportunity is open to everyone (schools, organizations, groups, individuals, students, etc).

Fundraising Tips for your Panel
We also encourage participants to initiate their own fundraising initiative by locating sponsors. The direction you take to do this may vary, depending on whether you are a student, individual, organization, school, group, etc. If you are finding sponsors yourself, you will need to fill out and snail mail in a Sponsorship Form with collected funds as soon as possible to reserve your spot.
Tips:
Schools
Teachers might try asking the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of their local school. If you feel you really want to spread this opportunity across your school district, you could try contacting your local mayor and city councilmen to see if he or she would consider sponsoring a panel for every school. Also consider asking the members from your local Board of Education, governor, or state senators and representatives.
Students
Talk to your teachers or professors and make them aware of this project. Often a project like this fits well within a curriculum schedule, and can fit into educational agendas.
Individuals
If you do not already belong to some type of support group, try turning to your family and friends. Even your church may see this as a valuable opportunity.
Groups
If you belong to some type of group, a project like The Dream Rocket works works well because it brings people together. Your group can collaborate to submit one panel, which makes it much more affordable (Example: If you are creating a 2 foot x 2 foot Dream Theme Panel, and there are four people in your group, each individual could create a 1 foot x 1 foot section, and then a group member could sew, stitch, or glue them together in some way. This would cost 25$ per person. The more people you add, the less inexpensive this will be.) Contact guilds or larger organizations that you belong to, and see if they would be interested in supporting your groups' participation in this worldwide project.
